Point North frequently asked questions

How long do orders take to be delivered?
Your order should be despatched within 5-7 days. At some times of the year we are extremely busy so orders may take longer than ususal. If you require goods within a certain timescale we recommend ringing to find out current despatch times. Should there be any delay due to stock availability etc. you will be contacted using the contact information you have provided.
If your order is urgent, please either tick the PRIORITY DESPATCH box at the checkout or telephone us before 1.00pm to ensure an express service. This incurs a £5.00 (inc VAT) surcharge.

What do I do if there's a problem with my order?
If you have any problems with an order from us please phone 01407 760195 or email and we will sort out any problems. Goods will be accepted for return as long as they are in the original and saleable condition. Credit will be issued in full for all items except fabrics which have been cut to a requested length which will be subject to a 5% restocking charge.
Before cutting fabrics please ensure that the goods received are in accordance with your requirements as we cannot accept responsibility after the goods have been cut.  

What do I do if an item is faulty when it's delivered?
Return it to us. Please advise this by email or phone 01407 760195 so we can expect it. We will either credit you or replace the goods,whichever you prefer. If you're returning something because it was faulty when it was delivered, we will refund your postage costs for returning it to us.

Who pays the postage on returned items?

If you're returning something because it's not suitable, you'll need to pay the
postage costs to return it to us.
 

What happens if you only have part of my order in stock?
We will dispatch the items we do have in stock as soon as possible, unless this affects your delivery pricing. Any long delays will be notified by email to allow you to choose a different option or wait for new stock.

How long do Special Offers last?
Our Special Offers last until we run out of stock or to the date stated in our
current newsletter. Please note the delivery on clearance fabrics are charged at
cost and not as in the delivery schedule for normal priced items.
 

Is my credit/switch card number secure?
We use the latest encryption technology (SSL) to enable secure transfer
of your personal data over the Internet.  Any details you enter are sent securely over the Internet. We use 2 types of
encryption, SSL and a digital ID to make sure everything is secure. We do not deduct monies from your card until the order is ready for despatch. An invoice is emailed on receipt of your order and a receipt emailed once the card has been debited and the order shipped.
 

What if I have a complaint about Point North?
If you have any complaint, criticism or concern about any service provided by
